Your cope is off the charts. The future of the Democrats is the anti-semitic, socialist, pro-crime Zohrantifada. SF learned about the hard left the hard way and is moving forward with competent leadership, while NYC is backsliding. Communists always lie and steal. Focus your efforts on convincing two of Cuomo, Adams, and Sliwa to drop out.

Yuri, I like the first part of your post, but I don't understand the last sentence.

Bradley, I am gratified to see your suggestion of thoughtful engagement with the likely new NYC administration of Mr Mamdani. I realize that some of his campaign proposals are not ones that you would choose much less support. None the less as an alternative to The Party of DJT or what remains of the tattered and seemingly aimless Democrats we could do worse than have a young candidate who at the least, as you point out, has the know how to run a modern campaign.

Andrew, our elections have become media circuses - we need to resist this kind of campaigning... Tribalism and class warfare certainly "sell papers," but we should take steps to make sure it doesn't win elections. We need to move voter information off media platforms designed to start fights to sell ads - and onto a platform designed for democracy. If you'd like to learn more about the platform we're building, I'd be happy to chat.

Tech startups should run for the hills - or organize and campaign for someone besides Mambani. When Mambani says "the end goal is to seize the means of production," he means it. He means he wants everything to go through him.... The problem with socialism is that it's a death-choking bottleneck. Tech has a shelf life, and socialism has a long history of self-imposed stagnation.

I did a google and see that he did suggest "seizing the means of production" in a speech four years ago. I have not seen it lately or as part of his campaign platform. What I can tell you is the President of the United States and his party are doing just that now. Did you see his latest suggestion

that a specific company get permission to trade in return for giving the US Govt a 15% cut? This is after insisting on a "Golden Share" in return for allowing Nippon to buy US Steel. I suggest prioritizing the fight against actual authoritarianism over hypothetical.

I think we should be able to do both.
